This Saturday

Holiday Pops featuring Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra  Tickets
Saturday, December 12 at 7:30pm
A limited number of premium tickets are still available!

Boston Pops
There are many traditions throughout the holiday season, but none as magical as the Holiday Pops.  This year, Keith Lockhart and the orchestra welcome the vocal virtuosity of the extraordinary Swingle Singers, a group whose name has become synonymous with flawless excellence and high-level entertainment since their ground-breaking debut album "Jazz Sebastian Bach" in 1963.  The current line-up of young, gorgeous and talented singers is, of course, several incarnations from the original team – Ward Swingle affectionately refers to them as his "grandchildren" – however the sound remains unmistakably Swingle.  The concert also features a special visit from Jolly Ole' St. Nick and a time-honored audience sing along.  Treat yourself and your loved ones to a holiday tradition that millions cherish!

This Sunday

The Laurie Berkner Band
  Tickets

Sunday, December 13 at 1:00pm
Tickets are still available!

Laurie Berkner Band
Children's music superstars and NOGGIN/Nick Jr. channel favorites Laurie Berkner, Susie Lampert (keyboards), Adam Bernstein (bass) and introducing Bob Golden (drums/ percussion) will perform a "Pajama Party" concert.  Kids are encouraged to come in their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals (those in the know will put them on their heads for the band's in-concert favorite "Pig on Her Head")!  The Laurie Berkner Band will play old and new hits, including songs from 2008's critically acclaimed CD, Rocketship Run.

Families are also encouraged to bring a pair of new children's pajamas and/or new children's book to donate to The Pajama Program (
www.pajamaprogram.org) which provides new pajamas for children entering foster care.

Widely recognized as the most popular indie children's recording artist in the United States, Laurie Berkner was at the forefront of the current progressive children's music movement.   Her intelligent songwriting, captivating vocals and infectious melodies have won not only legions of little fans, but also parents, who enjoy the music as much as their kids.
