National Park Service Announces Holiday Closures. In observance of the upcoming holidays, Lowell National Histoircal Park will be closed all day on December 25 and will reopen from 9:00 AM - 4:30 PM on Saturday, December 26.  The Boott Cotton Mills Museum will be closed on December 24 & 25. The Park will also be closed on January 1, 2010.  During the holiday week, Saturday December 26 through Thursday December 31 the Visitor Center will be open daily, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Boott Cotton Mills.  Museum will be open each day from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
