The Lowell Folk Festival, July 23 - 25.   The Folk Festival will begin on Friday evening, July 23 with a kick-off parade and music and ethnic foods at two performance stages: Dutton Street Dance Pavilion and Boarding House Park.  On Saturday, July 24, everything kicks off at noon until 6:00 pm with music, ethnic foods, crafts demonstrations and more throughout downtown Lowell.  At 6:40 the evening kicks off with a parade, then at 7:00 pm, the music continues into the evening at Dutton Street Dance Pavilion and Boarding House Park.  On Sunday, July 25, the final day of this year's festival will run from noon through 6:00 pm throughout downtown Lowell.  For more  information  please visit the Festival website at www.lowellfolkfestival.org.

The Athenian Corner presents Thursday Night Concerts on the Corner, an outdoor music series featuring local musicians in our outdoor seating area. This week's show features up and coming Lowell artist Mike Ryan. Mike and his band performed at the Athenian Corner during last year's Folk Festival weekend and they'll also be featured during this year's Festival July 23rd and 24th.  Showtime is 6:00 PM. All Concerts on the Corner are free and open to the public.

ArtWalk Lowell 2010 is here! Celebrate the City of Lowell's vibrant art scene during Lowell's annual ArtWalk, a collection of storefront window art displays created by 17 Greater Lowell artists. View sculpture, collage, fabric art, photography, paintings, and other dynamic mediums cleverly arranged in both occupied and unoccupied storefront windows in Lowell's historic, cultural arts district.
