When: Saturday, June 12, 2010, Concord River Greenway Park Ribbon Cutting at 12noon; RiverFest event from 12noon to 5pm. (Rain date is June 13, 12-5). RiverFest: Art Goes Green is being led in partnership with the Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust, COOL (Cultural Organization of Lowell) and the popular 92.5fm-The River radio station. Building off of a robust schedule of events through the region and expanded to a new location, Lowell will host the premier celebration on the newly renovated Concord River Greenway, near the heart of the City's historic Downtown.
Programming Includes: - Musical Performances throughout the day by River Rising Star artists, hosted by River On-Air personality, Rita Cary. Bring a blanket or chair so you can settle in to hear the music.
- Public Art Displays & Activities Featuring Recycled Products.
- Plus, Additional Eco-Centric Programming.
- Bring a picnic.
- Bring a white T-shirt for nature painting.
