April 26, 6-9:00pm Revolving Museum presents "Other Side" As part of Boston CyberArts Festival, "Other Side" will unveil on Tues., Apr. 26, 6-9:00pm, at Revolving Museum's new location on 290 Jackson Street, Lowell, MA. The college Artbotics class will also be exhibiting their work, “Play” at 119 Gallery, on 119 Chelmsford Street, Lowell, MA on the same date and time. There will be a live video connection between the two exhibits, and visitors are encouraged to visit both galleries (they're within walking distance). Both exhibits are FREE! This semester’s Lowell High School Artbotics class is presenting their exhibition “Other Side”, a series of kinetic sculptures revolving around the idea of other side – a seedy, underworld marketplace filled with creatures and other forms of life that are out of this world. The UML Artbotics course has created a wide variety of different robotic sculptures. All pieces have an interactive element that will encourage the audience to "Play" with them.
