This blog is the beginning of a lifelong project to support the local artists of Lowell, Massachusetts. Our city seal boasts the inscription: "Art is the Handmaid of Human Good" which once represented the skilled hand crafts of the textile trade that put Lowell on the map as a pioneer in the Industrial Revolution. Today this phrase represents the handmade goods of local Lowell Artists, Crafters, Chefs, Musicians, Writers, and other Creative Trades.
Lowell, MA is a city that enjoys celebrating its rich and diverse culture. This blog aims to be a resource for information, events, and happenings related to supporting the local artists of Lowell. Come back often for the ever-changing content and look at the Lowell arts & culture scene. Thank you so much for your interest, and for joining us in our pursuit of human goodness.
